I specialize in Disney and Sandals/Beaches Resorts
I am from South Carolina and recently relocated to beautiful Alabama from the snowy state of Minnesota. At the time my husband, Jay, and I got married he was on active duty in the US Army…so we moved quite a bit. We have been married for 18 years this year! I became a stay-at-home mom when our 14 year old daughter was born and have continued that 10 year old son was born. Between our 2 active kids I stay busy. When I am not working for my clients you will find me on the lacrosse field or cheering on our favorite team, the Auburn Tigers. War Eagle! Both of our kids play lacrosse and our oldest travels around the country playing in tournaments with her travel teams. My husband also coaches high school lacrosse so I also wear the hat of coach’s wife and team administrator.
My passion for Disney began in 1996 when I spent a summer working for the mouse through the Disney College Program and knew that one day I would want to get back into working with the Mouse! I have always loved to plan my own family’s vacations and putting all the pieces of the puzzle to a magical trip together. So when presented with the opportunity to make magic happen for others I jumped at it and now get to plan magic for others!
My favorite place to travel is really anywhere with my family! But if I had to choose a location I would say right now it would be Jamaica. I love the people and the culture there. The people are so friendly and welcoming. And I LOVE the beach! I am a beach girl so give me some sun, sand and ocean and you will not hear me complain!
My favorite travel memory was the very first time we took our kids to Disney. When I did the College Program with Disney in 1996 I was assigned to Strollers so I worked right before kids would lay eyes on Cinderella’s Castle for the first time. The look of wonder and amazement in their eyes…I always knew that I couldn’t wait to have kids of my own and see that look in THEIR eyes! So that first trip brought tears to my eyes!
My best travel tip is to always stay flexible. Even the best laid plans will have hiccups. Don’t let one small moment of imperfection ruin an entire trip for you.
