Amanda Mickle – Vacation Genie

My name is Amanda and I love to travel. I have been planning vacations since I was 10 years old. My favorite place to go is Disney, but Alaska is a close second! My first trip to Disney was when I was 8 years old, and I love it as much now as I did then!

My husband, Brian, and I have been married for 26 years and we have two children: Hunter and Hannah. They are as passionate about Disney as I am. I was a stay-at-home Mom for much of my marriage, but I also worked in the school system for several years.
Brian and I have lived in Gardendale, Alabama our entire lives. My husband is a general manager of a HVAC&R supply co. I have served as Children’s Ministry Director in our church for 20 years. My son is engaged, attending Lee University as a Nursing major, and my daughter assists in our church ministry.

I have spent many years planning personal vacations and assisting friends. Now, I want to start helping other people make their dream vacations come true! with no hassle, no stress, just wonderful memories that last a lifetime! I have stayed at many different hotel levels in Disney World from Value to Deluxe. My family absolutely loves the Grand Floridian and Polynesian or sometimes the mountain feel of the Wilderness Lodge. There is nothing quite like the hallmark feeling of The Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party sipping on cocoa and eating Christmas cookies, or the majestic beauty of the Flower and Garden Festival. There are so many amazing things you definitely do not want to miss!

My husband and I took a trip to Alaska and words cannot express the beauty and wonder it holds. The beauty of Alaska is timeless, offering everything from whale watching to breathtaking waterfalls and amazing wildlife. Alaska has too many beautiful sights to list. I am excited to help you and your family get started on a trip that will impact your family for generations!
