I am married with two grown children, Chris and Charlene. Growing up I had never been outside of Alabama except for an occasional Six Flags trip with my church. For five years I worked as an office manager for a tour company that specialized in Senior Adult motorcoach tours. It was here my passion for travel was born and I was able to lead/host groups to Pennsylvania, and on cruises to Hawaii and Alaska.  We try to kayak somewhere new on our trips and have kayaked in Kauai, HI, Prince Rupert, BC, and Icy Strait Point, Alaska. Other hobbies include photography, camping, reading, and spending time with my kids.

My favorite place to travel is Alaska and the Caribbean. There is nothing more beautiful to me than the turquoise blue water of the Caribbean or the big majestic mountains and scenery in Alaska. 

My favorite travel memory: My family’s first time to fly was to Hawaii. My daughter was 8 and my son was 16. We all picked one thing we wanted to do and experience. My husband wanted to kayak, my son wanted to go snorkeling, I wanted a whale watching tour, and my daughter wanted to visit an aquarium; but the most humbling tour for all of us was Pearl Harbor.

My best travel tip is always get travel protection insurance. Covid has proved this is a valuable offer. You invest a lot of money into your vacation, so you want that protection and security knowing you can get that refund or future credit to use later.
